The Legal Tech Colab was jointly initiated by Georg Eisenreich, Bavarian State Minister of Justice, Helmut Schönenberger, CEO of UnternehmerTUM, and Philipp Gerbert, General Managing Director TUM Venture Labs.
We are part of UnternehmerTUM and TUM Venture Labs and are funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Justice.
On the initiative of the Bavarian State Minister of Justice, Georg Eisenreich, the Bavarian Ministry of Justice and UnternehmerTUM founded the Legal Tech Colab in 2022. The Bavarian Ministry of Justice supports the "Legal Tech Colab" with up to one million euros per year.

The TUM Venture Labs support scientists and students of our ecosystem on their entrepreneurial journey in numerous technology-based domains. The joint initiative of Technische Universität München and UnternehmerTUM supports entrepreneurial talents in tech-based business which has been developed from science, offering an entire ecosystem with the necessary development environments.
